Final Cut Pro and the MBP GPUs

Hey, long time reader, first time poster. I just picked up the new MacBook Pro on Thursday and was thinking about getting Final Cut Studio.

How does FCP make use of the MBP's two gpu setup?

Is the difference between the new mbp running fcp and the old mbp running fcp different with the new gpus?

the 9600gt isn't a huge step-up from the 8600gt, I wouldn't expect much difference in final cut studio because of that. It's not using both gpu's if that's what you might be thinking, you can only use one or the other, obiously you want to use the 9600gt for the performance.
However the ddr3 memory and faster fsb on the new mbp's should speed up final cut studio a bit.
