Hello.
I am running Big Sur (11.2) on an M1 MBA and am trying to use a Smart Folder to list my FCP libraries, like shown here for example:
I have found libraries locally on the internal SSD, but when it comes to an external Samsung T5 1TB SSD, it shows the names, but Finder cannot interpret them correctly.
It looks like this:
When I double click one of them, Finder wants this:
The location of the "alias" looks like this:
And when I use the Fix Alias button and do so, I get this upon pressing OK.
Could this be a bug, or are external HFS+ formatted volumes no longer supported? Or is this just the new status quo?
If this is the wrong subforum, please move to an appropriate one.
