Hi All,
I have a question on in regards to final cut pro. Im converting my canon t2i and 7d dslr files to prores 720p 60fps. Now I see that the sequencer setting is set at 59.94 frames per second. Would that cause choppiness on playback?

60 is short hand for 59.94, 30 is short hand for 29.97 and 24 is short hand for 23.976. Rarely, very very rarely will you want your frame rate to be a whole number (ex. 60.00).

funny when i convert the files to 59.94 they work fine? So when converting files from my dslr is it best to change them to 59.94 and 23.98 etc?

You shouldn't have to convert your framerate at all.

The t2i and 7D capture video at 23.98 and 59.94.
