Hi,

I just ran into a problem where when I am editing in the timeline and I drag clips around, the audio will not follow the video. This means that the audio is constantly going out of sync. This has never happened to me before. Is there a preference somewhere that I accidently hit that made it this way?

Even if I shorten a clip by dragging it the audio will not follow.

Thanks

Check Your Linking Options

Shift-L enables/disables 'Linked Selection' and is located in the upper right corner of the timeline. Also, if the name of your video clip in the timeline is not underlined, then it is not linked. Highlight both video and audio clips and hit command-L to link them.
