Final Cut Pro on a Iris Pro ?

Hey guys, I have been planning to buy a MacBook Pro 15inch. Initially I decided to get the dGpu one. But seeing soooo many posts and news all over the Internet, I got Seriously concerned. I mean I am a student and I need my 2500 dollar laptop to last. So now I am considering getting the Iris pro model. Safer and stable and option. I just wanted to know if anyone of you has used FCP on the Iris pro model ? And how does it work ?

Works fine for me. Iris Pro graphics has enough horsepower to easily run FCPX
