I hear there is a hack which would allow Final Cut Pro to work on an intel based mac mini, is this true? If so, will it allow me to get 24p footage from my Canon HV20? Asking because that feature is not in Final Cut Express

I will not be doing anything "graphical" other than getting the video to run at 24p...still a lost cause?

From what I recalling seeing on mini specialty sites like 123macmini, the only real problems are with some of the plugins that require a discrete card. You may want to do a little more research, however, before dropping that kind of cash on an app that may not work properly on your mini.

I'd buy it and if it doesnt do what I need it to, I can drop a dollar for the imac
