my friend brought Final Cut pro and he isn't going to use it so he wants to give it to me, would it run on my macbook 2.1ghz 1gb 120HD Mac OSX 10.5.6

It should, yes. The MacBook's graphics card may not be up to some tasks, though.

Edit: Sorry, I just re-read the requirements, and it doesn't support integrated graphics at all - so no, it won't run on your MacBook.

it is going to be real laggy, i know that i can't make any HD content it would just be used to edit some video projects for my work, because i have final cut pro on my mac pro at my job and it runs crazy fast.

I can't make any promises. I know that Aperture simply refuses to run at all on computers that fail to meet the requirements. The installer will give you an error. It's possible to hack the installer to run on a computer with less memory than the minimum requirement, but not the graphics card.

I can confirm that Final Cut Express runs on MacBooks with integrated graphics. Pro, on the other hand, will likely suffer miserably.
