So I've got the new Final Cut Pro X. I'm completely new to FCP, never used it before, but I'm a more advanced user of iMovie 11.

The first problem I'm having is that it's refusing to show my iMovie events, nothing happens when I click the button. This could be something to do with the fact that my iMovie events+projects are stored on my external HDD, but I've successfully got my 'Final Cut Events' folder to be stored on the same external. How can I get them on there? I don't want to copy them into a new folder either.

Also, will I be able to use iMovie as my 'storage area' and access this content from FCPX? I want to use iMovie to take in the clips from my camera, but I'd like to edit them in FCPX, if thats possible.

Thanks guys :)
