final cut pro X on and imac

I'm still rock'n a 24 inch iMac. 2.93 Ghz with and OWC 8 Gig Ram upgrade. I'm running Final Cut Pro X on it and believe it or not it runs ok. Not great but ok. I have to do all my work with Proxy media. When I am ready to output to the final product, compressor will take over night and then some with two hours Of HD footage. Its slow but it works until I can save some more money.
who else is editing with Final Cut Pro on an older iMac?

You must have a 2009. Can't run FCPX on the 2008's with the ATI gfx card. I'd love to run FCPX....

Fcp x runs great on my 2009 I7 iMac 27". I'm glad I did the optional I7 because I'll get more useful life out of the computer.
