If I buy Final Cut Pro X on an let's just say an MacBook, and a few months later I buy a iMac and I want Final Cut Pro X on it. Do I have to buy Final Cut Pro X again or redownload it on the iMac or how does it work?

You must buy it through the Mac App Store... and that will give you access to the software for multiple Macs... Just make sure you use the same AppleId on both/all Macs to be able to share your purchases.

BTW, this is true of any software that you purchase through the Mac App Store... just use the same AppleID and have access to it on all of your Macs. You can share the same Mac Store AppleId on up to 10 devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc), though not all can install all software (no FCPx on iPads/iPhones, for example).

Thank you!
