Do we know when it is supposed to ship yet? According to Amazon.com, it is shipping on May 15th, but I don't know how accurate that is.
 
can't wait to get my hands on it!
just upgraded my web/image apps to CS3
and am aching over upgrading my video apps too :D
 
I went to the Apple store last weekend and they told me June...? I was asking as to when I could demo it in store so maybe that is different then ship and deliver dates.

My rep at Applestore also mentioned Mid-may as when it would "probably" ship, same with another store I asked, but i doubt they have any real hard facts as to when it will ship. My order is in, and I just got my CS3 premium too, so I'm looking forward to getting this bundle.
Just installed a couple new drives etc, so I had to start from scratch, and since I probably won't NEED FCS for a little while now, I won't bother with installing the old Studio, which makes me hope all the more for a speedy ship-date, hopefully everything goes according to plan and it's almost on it's way already! :)

I only just got FCS 1 so will spend a while learning that before I take the plunge and purchase the FCS 2 update. Still, Colour seems like a really useful application, and even better looks fun to play with as well :).

A bit off-topic, but if I have FCE 3.5 (and get the next FCE when it includes the new HD compression), is there really any reason to get CS3 Master Suite (heavily discounted at the EDU store) or will I be better off getting CS3 Design Premium and forgoing the Adobe video software?

The UK EDU price of the Master Suite on top of the UK EDU Design Premium is worth it alone for After Effects. But I'd still be buying both the Master Suite and FCS2. I never liked Premiere (which I used first), and Final Cut has been great to me.
 
The norwegian Apple-store changed from May to "2-3 weeks" today (Yes, I check every day.. hehe), the US Store is still just May.
My order still says 31st of May too.

I'm doubting it was. In my experience, Apple has quite regularly shipped products on the last day possible. I'm expecting May31st.

Looks like the apple store has the upgrade listed as 2-3weeks. Why would the upgrade not be available at the same time as the retail?
