OK, I'm a student. Yes, I had enough to buy a G5 AND Cinema Display, but that pretty much broke the bank until september...

Now I want to get up to speed with my Video Editing - back to Uni in september... So I'm looking at legally purchasing FCS... So I look at the price, knowing it to be quite expensive, but nothing compared to Avid.

The standard price on the UK Store is £899. That wouldn't kill even a small studio.

So I log on to the educational store, the price is a mere £599.25... Hmm... YIKES springs to mind.

I could probably afford to spend £200 on this product - bear in mind this is exclusively for educational purposes!! I'm not actually making any money here. I'm not going to shoot my mouth off about Apple, because I think they're a pretty decent company - and have gotten better in the last couple of years. (UK CS has been a joke previously...) But... C'mon guys! Cut a student some slack!!
