About two years ago, I sent in my copy of Final Cut Studio to get an upgraded version that would work on an Intel Mac. Now, I am upgrading computers and I want to reinstall Final Cut Studio onto my new computer. When I upgraded FCS, I was sent a small box with just the discs. I do not remember being asked for my serial number when I installed it on my old computer. Now, it is asking me for the serial number. I wrote down the serial number from Final Cut on my old computer, but it will not work on the new one. Am I installing it wrong, or do I need to dig around in my boxes to look for the a different number that shipped with the small box?

You need the number that came with the new disks.
