Hi all,

I'm having a bit of trouble with Final Cut Studio's 'Compressor' running on my 15" MBP (OS X 10.6.7).

Every time I open the program it places a file on my Desktop (it's titled from an export I tried doing a while ago), I can delete this file but if I try and empty the trash it says the file is still in use (I have to restart my laptop to get rid of it). Also, when I quit the program (properly quit it, so it's closed) it continues to run a process on my laptop that takes up something ridiculous like 200-odd % of CPU, cranking my CPU temperature up to about 80 degrees in about 5 minutes! Yet the program is closed...

Can anyone help me out here? I basically can't even use the program because of these problems.

Thanks,

Top left in the compressor menu select "reset background processing" just cancel anything still running. This should get rid of whatever might still be in there.
