Hi there;
I am working with an MPEG1 that will open in Quick Time Player and play with its sound, no problem. But, when I import same file in FCP, for some reason, sound isn't "attached" anymore, like an only video file. :confused: Am I missing something? The only editing I need to do is changing the audio track for another, that's all. What would be the easiest way to do this? Thanks!

My post about using .mpg files might be of help.

Note: Ignore step 3 if the audio file you want to use in place of the one in your current .mpg isn't from a .mpg file.

Thanks a lot, that post was great! However, I think QT reads but won´t make an MPEG1 so I still have to loose one generation recompressing audio and video in Cleaner to get back an MPEG1 with the new audio (I need MPEG1 for Video CD).

Just found that the Compressor 1.2 update will export MPEG1. Trying to get a copy.
