Hi,

If there is any good soul out there, can you please test the benchmark for final fantasy XIV on your 13" rMBP. I am contemplating in purchasing a 2013 MBA, but with the configuration that I want, a refurbished rMBP might make more sense. I am looking for light gaming with the laptop and likely FFXIV. If anyone has bootcamp that can test the benchmark for me, it would be greatly appreciated. There are different settings, so if you can do different ones it would be great. :D

I can't even get the beta of FFXIV installed on Windows 7 Ultimate via bootcamp. I don't know if it's my system or if it's the installer......

That's strange. I have bootcamp on my iMac with Windows 7, and the installer for the benchmark works fine. Someone on the MBA forum did a benchmark test too. I'm not sure tbh. You have a 13" rMBP?

15", just throwing this in because I wanted to vent my frustration.

I'm wondering this same thing in relation to the 13" MacBook Airs. More specifically I'm curious how the Haswell Iris GPU handles it.
