Final iPhone 3G price when upgrading

Hey guys,

I am an existing iPhone owner and I would really like to upgrade to the iPhone 3G. I was wondering if anyone would share the price that they payed in store when upgrading to the 16GB iPhone 3G. I just don't want to get to the Apple store bright and early and be hit with unexpected costs.

This is what I have figured so far:

iphone: 299.99
upgrade fee: 19.00
activation: 36.00 (I assume there is one?)
and tax: about 23.25 (in Las Vegas)

I am about halfway through my current iPhone contract.

Anything I don't know about?

Not finding an activation fee....perhaps because I have a FAN account
Called once to have it removed and was rejected...but perhaps they did it then

that sounds about right, though you may not get charged the activation fee upfront.
It didn't show up till later when I got my first bill.

you will be charged an $18 upgrade fee
the $36 activation fee is for new subscribers, $26 activation is charged for add lines on family plans.
Depending on your billing cycle, you may be charged a prorated charge for the data plan

I upgraded from the 8gb normal iphone to the new 3G and o2 do not charge anything for upgrade. They just give you the phone and obviously you pay whatever it costs for which ever one you pick
