Hey guys, just wanted to know if the method i used to delete some back ups were save. What i did was just drag two back ups that I didn't need anymore into my trash, held option and clicked delete.
im asking this because i came across this video saying if i used this method, i would be "screwed"
http://www.newcityexperience.com/general/how-to-delete-backups-from-time-machine/
what do you guys think? is the method i used safe, or did it some how mess up my TM or leave left over data?

I use this method and i think it's fine. A lot of people do that. :)

thanks thanks!
it was successful for me too but i got paranoid that it left some unwanted junk that i couldnt so, or it secretly messed up my WD or laptop. I know, paranoid :D
it doesnt help when you see that video and that guy is saying you screwed up the time machine by deleting back ups like we did.

No problem.:)

Another way to delete time machine backups is by formatting the drive again but taking it to the trash do the job too.:)
