Finally, a review worth reading (from AnandTech)

Im very surprised at the conclusion the S1 is just a Cortex A7 at 520mhz. I was semi-certain Apple had made a custom arm core for this. *surprised*

The article does confirm what I have expected though, the process technology at 28nm improving will be the largest improvement in the S2 - Apple Watch 2
 
As always, reading the comments section is actually more fun than reading the review.
People just can't accept any praise for Apple products. Some commenters even complained why the reviewer has not much hair on his arm. o_O
