Whoa this card is quiet, it feels the same as the HD 2600. I'm so glad that its quiet because I remember on my previous mac pro 2.66ghz that the ati x1900's fan was freakin loud and I had to install an aftermarket fan on the x1900 to make it run quiet.

Wow I played a little bit on Crysis and at 1920x1080(highest resolution) it runs fast on everything set to high, but on very high the framerate is kinda choppy. But I'm not a hardcore gamer so high is more than good enough and the graphics look sweet!!

Another game I never really finished was doom 3 but with everything set on high, I've never seen the game look so good~ I cant wait till tonight to play one of these games!!

I'm not a hardcore gamer and these are the only 2 games that I'm probably going to play but wow the 8800gt is very nice.

I also notice that the animations have smoother transition on osx with the nvidia 8800gt. For example when clicking on stacks for folders or stack the effect looks soo smooth and even minimizing effect of genie is alot smoother as well!
