Finally, an Alpine Full Speed cable that can Charge an iPhone 3G, MAYBE!

It's listed as working with the iPhone 2G-3G, but it's also listed as being for the new CDE-102.

Giving it a quick look, it seems to us the same plug that the previous model year did. I have a CDA-9887 and everything works fine with the iPhone except for the charging of course, and I was just wondering if anyone here has tried this cable or has read anything about it working with any other Alpine Headunits besides the CDE-102. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

So I called Alpine support about my other issue and asked about this cable. Sorry, it's only fr the new radios and is not compatible with the older head units.

I'm just hoping that the public release of 3.0 will let my iPhone talk with my ida-X100 again.
