Title says it all!
Now both the iPhone and iPad have the same content with promise for 'exclusive only for the iPad' content update in the future!

I don't have an iPhone ... Yet! :)
So I cannot comment on angry birds on iPhone or compare them.
But the iPad version is very good, compared to 2x mode of angry birds lite no jaggies or smaller game window!
Big screen, full resolution graphics! And fun gameplay!
 
I have not registered for crystal, but the game offers crystal achievements and challenges with friends and others
 
Crash Galore!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy this has finally been updated but at the cost of being unplayable lol.

*My iPad has never been jailbroken and I performed a reboot to free my RAM but the crashes still persist :mad:
 
after the update mine crashes everytime i try to play 3. danger above .
 
I have experienced a very few crashes and loss of audio a couple of times when I started the game. But nothing that makes it unplayable though!

They have released another update 1.3.4 to solve all the crash problems, and I have not experienced a crash after that!
 
Not going to bother buying this until we get some new content. Firemint added some awesome iPad exclusive airfields to Flight Control HD, same for Labyrinth 2 HD (iPad levels).
 
Am I right in thinking that Theme 3 was only going to be accessible after this update?
 
Beware 1.3.4

For those experiencing the occasional crashing after the 1.3.3 update, do not update.
The latest version is fine for a little while and then stops loading.

Be patient, wait for another update, there are many folk submitting reviews with the same issue
 
I need somebody to try something. If yours is crashing all the time when you launch it, turn off your wifi. AB opens when I turn wifi off.

Cheers for that mate, just tried it and it worked!

Wasn't aware of this issue so when it happened to me yesterday I removed and reinistalled the app loosing all the levels I'd completed so did them all again and to my horror it goes and crashes at the same point today :(

Glad I know it's a common problem now
 
I just tried the wifi trick and it worked for me, too. Wifi on, no Birds. Wifi off, works fine (except, obviously, the Crystal stuff, which needs network).

Thanks for the tip...I was two Golden Eggs away from completing everything when it crapped out. I've now got all Golden Eggs and all the stars. So other than going for higher scores, I don't really have anything left to do. :)

Not just wifi, I also had to turn off 3g to get it working
So basically airplane mode = no crash on startup
 
Here is a temporary solution to get everything working:
1. Turn off 3G.
2. Turn off wifi.
3. Turn on wifi, immediately return to the main screen and run angry birds.
This will let you start the game before your iPad connects to the wireless network and enjoy Crystal leaderboards and achievements in a few seconds.
NEVER delete and reinstall the game, cause you will lose the progress.
