Finally did it. (traded in 17 inch powerbook for MBP)

Well I went to a local Apple reseller, and I traded in my 17 inch powerbook for $1800 and was able to buy a MBP for acedemic discount as well, so I only ended up paying $700 for a 2.0 120GB MBP. I'm so happy, can't wait for it to come in, the wait is going to suck though.

wow. you know, even though they are called apple resellers, i never thought of selling mine to them. i should think about that. i jumped on an offer for an MBP for $1300 because the original owner thought there were too many bugs on the Intel chip. hmmm maybe i'll sell my 12" pb AND my new 1.83 MBP for the new models whenever they come out.

Yeah good idea, basically now I will be able to have the best apple laptop for the next 4 years, while I finish college, just selling my old one then paying a couple hundred to upgrade.
