This thread isn't meant to be just to state to the world that you have your iPhone but to clarify when you got it and where for those who have yet to receive their iPhone.

For example:
I just got my iPhone 4S by UPS at 10:22 am EST
I ordered from AT&T around 4 am last Friday.
Live in Virginia (if that helps out for those nearby)
UPS Status "Out for Delivery" first showed up at 6:35 am (4 hours for delivery)

Waterloo IA delivered an hour ago

First impression, love it. And I get one more bar of reception in my home.

Siri is smarter than I thought it would be even. I sent one message to my friend Josh via Siri. Then a little later I said " also tell him I sent this via voice command" and it sent another message to josh saying " sent via voice command".

Pretty cool, I just inserted my SIM card but still have my 1 bar service
I'm impressed so far

guys for those who ordered from ATT and could not order applecare + what's the call? can I use the phone and then go to an apple store I get applecare?

Hi, can someone tell me if their ups status was updated to delivered when it was delivered, or if there was a delay?

I am at work and would like to go home to get it after the status changes. THanks.,

I recieved mine around 1130est today. Lexington Park, MD (southern Maryland)

Have yet to open it yet, stuck at work for now.

For the first I actually got 4 bars outside my house. 2 bars inside which isn't that bad compared to my iPhone 4

Unboxing video is added in the first post
Right now uploading a video on the Antennagate of the iPhone 4s

Anyone else?
It would help out the others who haven't got their shipment yet

Could one of you guys who own both the iPhone 4 and 4S upload a video with both to show the differences in speed etc

in my opinion, im still not convinced that its worth the money, going from a 4 to a 4S

Thanks guys

If you really need the 8MP Camera, Siri, and faster chip than its worth it.

Those are the only big factors IMO

i suppose.

looking at some of the pics uploaded on here the camera isnt that much of a deal, Siri is a gimmick just like facetime, and nobody will be using it after a few weeks, and the speed thing is the only thing which looks like a huge improvement, but not worth the £500 IMO.

Thinking about it, i might stick with the 4

(The above is my opinion)

Yea, its better off to wait till next year and see what improvements they will make in the next gen iPhone

No one will use Siri? You've lost your mind - I've already used it 50+ times since I got my phone yesterday (yes, I got mine early - there's a thread here about it).

The best part of Siri is setting up quick reminders - things I never did before because it was a pain in the ass to open the calendar, choose a day, type out the reminder details, then scroll the hour and minute. Now I just tell it to remind me of something on a day and time, and voila - done.

Additionally, speaking the texts while driving is going to be revolutionary. Quick responses or quick hitters are so much easier now.

Finally, asking Siri "how do I get home" or "I'm in the mood for sushi", or "I need gas" - and the directions to home, the local Japanese restaurant (with reviews), and gas stations pop up. This is indeed invaluable and much quicker than typing it all out on a GPS navigation unit!

Siri won't ever die - she/he/it will only evolve to be the next big thing.

The problem with Facetime is that it's so dependent on internet connection - a crappy connection and Facetime is useless. Facetime also doesn't work off of Wi-Fi, while Siri works on 3G and Wi-Fi.
