Hey, I finally nabbed an ipad last week and I have to admit, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the selection of apps. Mostly everything with iOS worth dowloading you have to pay for, which is a bit of an adjustment for me (coming as a Droid 1 user). What app should I take a look at? I test drove a few on the ipads in best buy the other day, but nothing really stuck out at me. I bought garageband, and dled some free media and tv apps (xfinity ftw!) And Id like to get some games. Nothing really intense, first person shooter or rpg, just something goofy I could play on the train. Thoughts?

The iPad is the first device i've really ponied up the money for apps for. (I try to ignore the prices to not depress myself -damn you dashcommand-)

If I had to pick just 1 app. I'd say flipboard easy. Best way to keep up on news from lots of different sources and really great way to keep up with links people post on twitter/Facebook
