Just hit 1000 cycles on my iPhone 5 bought on launch day with 90% capacity still left. The battery is still holding up really well surprisingly for the amount of cycles and always dies after 1%.

Just tried to download. Paid. Opened the app and it won't run because I'm Jailbroken.

Wish it said in the description.

I understand why banking apps etc won't run on Jailbroken devices but a battery checker? Pathetic.

Wicked! Mine went bad at about 600 cycles and apple ended up replacing it for free when they fixed my lock button. I averaged between 5-7 hours on screen usage with my beloved iPhone 5. ;( I miss it. Sold it to get the 6 and I've had nothing but problems with my 6 so far. But I consistently get 7-8 hours on screen usage from my 6. Too bad my display was crap then I get a replacement and the front camera is bunk! Maybe my third 6 will be nice. Anyways how much on screen usage you getting with your 5?

Look for BatteryLife or Battery Life in cydia. Gives you the cycles and current voltage. Very nice little app. Also tells you the "real" charging state so you know when your battery is actually for real 100%. The battery keeps charging and it holds it at a maximum voltage set at a certain limit like 5-10 minutes then power is cut off and your battery is actually full. When you hit 100% on the battery indicator in the status bar usually you really aren't at the real 100% if you look at the voltage. I miss the little plug from iOS 6 and below days so you knew when you were actually full!

I'm sure you know you can also run iCopyBot from your comp to get the batt charge cycles.

Example:

That's pretty cool you've nailed 1000 charge cycles.

Impressive that your 5 battery has retained that much capacity after 1000 cycles. My original 5 had around 600 cycles and capacity dropped to around 70%. But my 4, had broken 1000 cycles a few months ago and it still has 85% capacity.

Strange. I'm jailbroken (iphone 6), downloaded the app, an its working fine on my device.
