Finally I am almost a Mac owner

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a Macbook Pro 17" HD Glossy screen with the 7200rpm drive today. With the ADC discount it wasn't a bad price and I can't wait for it to get here. My only question is if the delivery date is pretty accurate or will it change later?

congratulations on your purchase. apple's been known to ship earlier than the estimated date, but august 14 sounds pretty reasonable.

Since you're getting a 17", I don't think you'll have a problem with on-time delivery. It's the LED backlit mbps that were having the most trouble.

I'm in the same boat, mostly. I didn't order mine with the ADC discount but at least its comforting that the delivery date is accurate
