Thanks for the link!

I wonder why these new apps don't show up in the "New" section of the Apps Store? Every time I look there, I see the same apps nearly every day. Billy Frontier, Asthma-Charter, iDoodle... they've been in the same New spot for the entire week now.

is this actually mms or just a way to attach a photo link or something? how does this work without an actual mms plan?

Tried to browse for info on the app through their website and haven't been able to find anything specific on the app.

The impression I'm getting is that it's basically a service that sends an email to xxx-xxx-xxxx@[phonecarrier].com. Just my impression...

I'll wait for more guinea pi...I mean...people to try it out before I sign up for anything. :p

I received the code but I couldn't send anything, maybe cause i only have wi-fi on my phone and my carrier's data settings haven't been entered.

I'll try this out later when I get my settings.

thats what i want to know and i strongly doubt it

Yeah, because the push service isn't out yet, there would be no way to find out if we received a MMS. It really doesn't do me much good if I can't receive MMS. Oh well. Once we get the push feature on the iPhone, we might actually get a fully featured MMS app.

I doubt it, that would require the app to be able to check if their are SMS's coming in, then decide if there are MMS or not. That would be playing outside of the apps sandbox.

I received the txt message...sent a test message to another phone. Appears to send some text saying "so-and-so sent you a picture text message using flutter, click here to view the picture" ehhh

Will this actually send a photo or a link to a photo, as the latter already exists elsewhere? And maybe they call it MMS to get people to notice it; this app will go to number one and they will be charging for it next week. :) Also, it doesn't seem like it will receive MMS messages. Let's see - in the meantime, I will download it so that I won't have to pay for it next week!

This CRAP APP sends a LINK to a photo which could NOT be opened on three separate phones that I sent a photo to. I deleted the app, dont waste your time!

I would hardly call this "OFFICIALLY"... Far from it. I think the OP got a little over excited for nothing. You can email photos to another phone using their mobile email address, and that is more official then this. BUT, this is a better alternative then viewmymessages.com is.

Guys - when are you going to realize there is never going to be a TRUE 3rd-party MMS app? The only time that true MMS is going to come to the iPhone is when Apple and their providers allow it. So far, it doesn't look like they plan to ever have it....

Mms Now On Iphone! (as the app Flutter)
