Finally Time!

I finally got my funds together, and i'm off to buy my stock black MacBook from the Apple Store tomorrow. If I really like this Mac (it's my first Mac EVER!) then i'll start saving for a more powerful iMac!

Even though iLife 07 and whatever else may be released at MWSF, i'm still getting it now. I've been wanting to buy one since the C2D MBs got released, and I know that if I wait for MWSF then I may as well wait for Leopard etc. I'm just going to buy it now and be happy with what i've got, then buy Leopard when it gets released.

I'm so exicted, i'll post pics when I have it tomorrow.

I'm excited for you! I know how good of a feeling it is....I had the same feeling when I bought my first mac just over a year ago (12in PB)...It's awesome!

I GOT IT! It's so damn good, but i'm having a few problems with AirPort. Works fine with an ethernet cable plugged in. I'm so happy right now, i'm just going to carry on having a play!

Did you run updates? I believe a new update just came out for the macbook (c2d) airport card.

Yeah I did the updates when they popped up. I connected to another wireless network with no security, so I know it's working fine. Must just be a setting on my router. I'm sure i'll get it fixed!

I'm finally getting the hang of this now. Front Row kicks ass, my little sister loves Photobooth and i'm finding more and more great stuff all the time. The only thing that bothers me (apart from AirPort) is the lack of a delete key.
