This is cool until I think about the issue of my phone constantly turning on the face during the night and lighting up the room.... is there a way to turn off the display while its on this charging mat? i always put my phone face down to keep notifications and stuff like that turning on the screen late a night. Anyone have any thoughts or info on this?

Yep, and you can put it on a schedule so you don't even have to remember to turn it on.
My phone stay on 24/7. My alert volume is not so loud that it would wake me up but it loud enough to hear if I am awake. I sleep with my eyes closed so the screen does not bother me.
