What color is that whote? Think I'd like one.

Just kidding. Enjoy but now you will not have a life like the rest of us!

Lol! I will have a life because I can focus on something else other than how to obtain a mini iPad.

The only AT&T model not in stock tonight for pickup tomorrow at the Apple Store near me is the white 64GB.

So much for shortages!

There's not a single store within 500 miles of me (and that includes Memphis, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, Tulsa, Ft. Worth, & Birmingham) that has *any* showing available.

I take that back -- at 10:02 the In Stock lit up like a Christmas tree :)

Why is everyone opting for the higher priced models? Why 64GB when you can use any number of cloud services to hold most of your stuff? Ive never used more than 7.4GB to date. Music is on my phone. I do think Apple should make an iTunes for Android.

I have 26GB of apps, and 20GBs of photos. I want the stuff with me, not relying on a data connection that may or may not be there. Cool games are 1GB a piece.

Some of us like store movies and TV shows. The option is there. Some would even argue 64GB is not enough.

Throw in a couple movies and/or TV episodes, then you have apps/games/documents and whatever else.

Simple, the cost of data. Data is expensive, $35 for 5GB was the best we can do in Canada, course I'm betting the price will (or has) gone up by the time my iPad mini gets here...

Oh, and I'd kill for a 128GB model.. =)

Because, in fact, iCloud isn't really in the cloud. It's really a synchronization tool or, at best, a 'back-up' tool. Everything that's on iCloud is on your iPad.

All of my non personal items I keep in the cloud and I like Apples method of buy once download anytime anywhere.

Not sure why anyone would get a 16gb... in my opinion they should be 32/64/128gb, and I'd happily pay for the premium to have 128gb.... but 16 gb is too little, I have 17gb audio, 24 gb video, 8 gb apps, and 3 gb "other" ... I would love 128. I could then not have to chose what video to put on and what not to.

More space the better for me. I travel frequently, and usually that means it can be tough to get a data plan or a reliable wifi connection. I want to keep everything essential on my devices.

I guess to each his own. Ilike to outsource the pain of storage....for non personal items like media files.

I don't disagree with you. I would, too, if I knew I could reliably access it whenever I want it, unfortunately I usually can't when I travel.

I just try to prepare in advance so I know what Im gonna want....if not I can just download it on the fly when I finally go get to a wifi or cellular hotspot.
