I have used previous versions of Quicken and have found it to be not user friendly. Is there something out there that is comparable to Microsoft Money?

There are loads of little apps that do this sort of thing. iCash is quite pleasant to use.

Have a look at apple's own pages for this and other applications you might wish to have a look at.
