Find Friends Temporary Sharing

Where is it? With IOS 7, in Find Friends, you are given the option to share your location on a temporary basis. I can't find this option in IOS 8. Is it gone or hidden somewhere else?

You can do that now in the messages app. Go to 'Details' at the top right under the contacts conversation.

You are right. It is, indeed, there. I was disappointed, though, to see that the only options for the length of time were one hour and till the end of the day. When I used Find Friends under IOS 7 I could select the exact time to stop sharing my location. I suppose that a "workaround" would be to add them in Find Friends then manually remove them myself at the time I want to stop sharing.
Looks like this temporary sharing functionality has migrated from direct access in Find Friends to the "details" section in messages.

But, in the end I'm glad that you pointed me in the right direction. Thanks again
