Ok....like a moron, I started to mistakenly delete all the music on my external hard drive. That's where I keep my iTunes library. Thankfully, early in the deletion, I realized what I was doing and stopped.
All of my purchased music was delete, as was ALL of my music in the library from A through D. Thankfully, I had almost a mirror image of that hard drive backed up. So I was able to restore MOST of my purchased music and all those artists from A through D. I definitely lost the last 5 albums I purchased in iTunes and some other stuff that wasn't updated on the backup.
However...now that I look...I see that a lot of random tracks in a lot of random albums are missing. I know I have them on the backed up disc, but can I tell, through iTunes, what songs are missing in my library, WITHOUT trying to play them? I have 60 gigs of music and it would take forever to try and play each song to see if it's there or not.
And I can't just import the backup...I should have done that earlier, though.
Thanks for the help!!
