Who else think they should put a tiny speaker inside the remote, so we can “Find the remote”?

No I do not. I believe that we should use our intelligence to find something like a misplaced remote.
It's getting to the point where certain humans are becoming too lazy.

Or you could use your iPhone as the remote via the Apple TV Remote app - less chance of losing it!
Btw - I just used the Lightblue Explorer app to find a friends lost Fitbit. It displays the Bluetooth strength of signal of any transmitting Bluetooth device and can be used to get closer to the lost device (Cold, warm, hot!). But I think the ATV remote only uses infrared and only when you press a button.

The Apple TV remote is definitely not infrared, which means it should be Bluetooth.

While the Apple TV remote from the fourth gen (2015) onwards does use Bluetooth to control the Apple TV, it goes to standby after a relatively short time (it wakes up super quickly so you don't really notice it). That's why an app like the Lightblue Explorer might not be able to find it.
