How long does a device make the pinging noise when you tell it to play a sound so you can find it? minutes, hour, forever?:confused:

Wrong end of the stick I think :)


I just tried it and got sick of it before it stopped. If you use it to find a misplaced iPad around the home, it's great. Also good for scaring people if you leave it at home.

So it stopped in a few minutes or like a half hour?

It works rather quickly.. but you have to remember if its off it won't do anything. It could have been stolen, died, etc.

I lost my iPhone once and the only reason the guy returned it was because he couldn't get the ringing to stop :)
