:D Nothing better to do, and I was just wondering if anyone knew the answer.......

Why is it, my MacBook Pro location on the map is off by 100 feet at home, and my iphone is spot on ? Is that because it has a good GPS ?
 
Yeah that sounds right. The Macbook uses triangulation of the wifi signals to estimate the location. The iPhone uses GPS.

I guess the more densely populated your area is (in terms of wifi) the more accurate it would be.
