It's odd that although there is a fully functional Find my friends app on the Apple Watch, Siri tries to boot you off to your iPhone when asking for a friends whereabouts rather than open the native Watch App. Is this an oversight? Hopefully they fix it in an update soon.

Pet Peeve: Siri doesn't know Siri. Siri needs to become a singularity across all devices and not a 'collection' of assistants all called Siri.

I agree. You should be able to ask Siri on the watch where a friend is, especially since it now has an app.

I also wish they would allow Siri to have a "voice" (as in feedback) on the watch as the speaker is much better now.

You can just ask Siri "Open find my friends" and the watch app opens.
Also you can turn on voiceover in the accessibility settings of the watch to get a voice feedback for siri.
The downside is you also get a voice feed back for everything else on the screen each time!
