Find My Iphone cannot find Mac

I downloaded Find My Iphone for my iPad and it has no problem finding my iPhone 16GB and Ipad 3. But it can't seem to locate my MacBook Pro. Why is this?

SOLVED: All what I needed to do was to enable Find My Mac on iCloud under System Preferences.
