Im all for the health stuff that seems to be the direction Apple is going in but Im really hoping this gets implemented into Watch OS soon. Not everyone carries an iPad, MacBook or has access to either everywhere they go. Wouldn’t it be great to pull up this feature on your watch if you misplace your phone while you’re out and about? Be able to locate your phone (or any of your devices) and/or wipe it remotely from the watch. It’s the one device that’s really difficult to misplace once it comes on.
We already have Find My Friends on the watch which I use a lot.

I tried the workaround of emailing the web version of Find My IPhone to myself and clicking the link on the email from the watch, but unfortunately, it won’t open.

Another feature I’d love to see is a notification on the watch when the phone and watch break Bluetooth connection so you know you’ve left your phone behind before it’s too late.

Thoughts?

Yeah, but that’s a close proximity finder that requires Bluetooth range to function. I’m talking about a real Find My IPhone function with a map and wipe in case you’re out of Bluetooth range before you realize your phone is gone. Like all the other devices have.

Can’t see it being much more difficult to implement than Find My Friends which the watch does have.

Well my watch doesn't have cellular so it could only get a wipe or report its location if it was near one of my trusted WiFi networks.
