Find my iPhone, MobileMe/ Apple ID???

Hey there

So the "Find my iPhone" is free. But how come it says "log in with your Apple-ID" and when i try it it doesn't work???? I try to add and login to the mobile-me account and when i put in just the Apple-ID or with the @me.com it just doesn't work.

WTH?

Why doesn't it work??? Any idea?

You have to create a free mobile me account first using your apple ID.

I use the latest.

But where can i find the "create free mobile me account"??? All i found (and i googled it) so far is the 60-day trial which i dont want to. I just wanna use the "Find my iPhone".

Where can i find it?

I recently had my phone stolen. Having MobileMe with the ability to wipe all my data immediately after was priceless. It was also password protected, but there's workarounds so this is one instance where MM provided great peace of mind.

Yes you have an iTunes AppleID but you gotta use it to create a free mobile me account for findmyiphone. Do what the tutorial says.
