Find my iPhone with no data roaming

Hi All
I am going abroad this weekend (France) and I will switch off data roaming on my daughters i4s but I was wondering whether find my iPhone will still work? any ideas?

No it won't unless it happens to be connected to WI-FI, which is unlikely.

And it also does not work if Location Services are off!

Which brings me to the following:

Location Services On drains the battery much faster.

Location Services Off won't be able to use find My phone.
