So pretty funny and interesting story to share with you guys and gals. So on sunday my wife and I decided to go to my sister in laws to watch some football. When we arrived I noticed my brother in law looking all over the house for his iPhone. This process lasted about an hour and then he began to get really frantic and nervous. He is an attorney so he cant really survive without his iPhone. The whole family started to search the house, after another 30 minutes I said to my sister in law, since she is the executive on their iPhone accounts, to try Find My iPhone. When we looked at the map it said it was across the street from their house, which is a main st. I Have read on here that the find my iphone maps is not very accurate so I figured since the map showed the phone about 1000 yards from the house maybe it was inside the house still and the map was just a little inaccurate. So she set the alarm off to see if we could hear it, nothing. Now why would the phone be down the street, where my brother in law had never stopped at or went anywhere besides church in the morning. So I told my family lets keep refreshing the map and hitting the sound and lets walk to the where the location is sending us. My brother in law at this moment realized he had put the phone on top of the car as he was putting the kids in the car for church. TADA!!! We thought right away the phone flew off the car onto the street which the location was set to. So we walked to this spot, the phone I guess bounced off the main street and landed in a grassy patch near a telephone pole, he had a charging case on it. The phone was fine and the case actually made it to besides some scratches. I thought id share this with you guys because Find my iPhone was very accurate in this situation, and my brother in law now thinks technology is amazing. Let me hear your thoughts or similiar stories.:apple:
