I lost my Touch this morning and frantically looked all over the house for it. I had been to a location with wifi about 15 miles away from home earlier so I tried the Mobile Me find program.
MM couldn't locate my Touch but I drove over to the location on the hunch that that is where I left it. Sure enough, somebody had found it. Oddly enough, the person said that when they turned it on, there was a message of some kind on the screen, I assume from my Mobile Me account. She had already turned the unit off and on since so I didn't get to read it. By the way, she knew it was mine from the message.
Anybody have any experience with this? I would have liked to have got more details but the lady was working and really didn't want to take the time to talk.
