So in my contacts, my info has my right address.

home is listed as 123/456 ABC St which in australia recognised as Unit 123 at 256 ABC St

In Maps, when I click home the pin is at the right area too (it points to the right building)

When I look at the find my left behind it shows home as "789 ABC St) which is at least a 5 min walk down the same St and each time I leave my house at the same traffic light I get a message my AirPods and iPad mini has been left behind.

I looked at my partners phone which like me has 123/456 ABC St in her info but her left behind "home" address is the road parallel to ours and 2 min away. So whilst her is off too she doesn't get the alerts telling she's left her devices at home

I know I can add my 123/456 ABC St to the exception list but I would rather fix the home address if I can.

Any ideas?

I was setting up an air tag last night for my dog, and tried to set my home address as an exception. Despite showing my correct address when I go to choose from options, the app inexplicably shows my neighbor's address on the corner (a different street address) as the location after I choose my address.

Yep I see this too every time I get a notification that I left my AirPods behind even though I have that turned off. The address is always a little different too.

Ive worked out that apple's determine your home address from your frequent locations.

So I had to clear that list in privacy settings and then it basically thought my whole city was my home. After 2 days of re-learning my frequent locations it determined where my home was and home was correct in find my left behind.

Such a hassle... No ideas why they wouldn't just use your contact details....
