Find old Aperture Serial Number

Hi,
I bought a copy of Aperture around Christmas time, anyway on reinstalling the OS on my macbook pro about a week ago I realised that I have lost the one important sheet from the retail box...the sheet with the serial number!

I phoned apple and they said they would email me a new serial but no email has appeared.

I was wondering if anybody knew if I could get the serial from my backups of my system before the reinstall, maybe somewhere in the library or something.
