Yup... that's right... The penguins gotta go. I'm tired of looking at him. I want a new tar.

Here's the reasons why I'm asking you guys to help:

1) I have a 4 month old daughter that takes 95 percent of my time.
2) I have no photoshop skills, no animated tar skills, no numb-chuck skills, and definitely no bow staff skills.
3) I'm lazy.

There ya go! :D Help me be pathetic. I'll even give you props in my sig.

Please make it something clean. Let's not get the thread locked.
 
well throw us a bone here, what sort of thing are you looking for? :p

i have an animated old school apple from the avatar contest you can "borrow" if you want. will edit this post with it shortly.

all bright and shiny! :D

Well... that might be what i'm looking for. I'd kinda like something apple related iBlue... :)
 
I understand the 4-month-old deal. My youngest is now at eight months. Not a big improvement. ;)

I'd offer to help, but am still floundering with my own. I think I'm going to set the PMG5 back up and have a go at it. Then I'll work up something for you. Because, you know, I'll do such a better job than one of Blue's cast-offs. Yeah, right....

Use hers. :)
 
God... I'm pathetic. Umm... Macs, Digital Photography.

See... here's the problem. I like jsw's and emw's tars. Why? I don't know. Just do. That's why I'm pathetic, I can't think of a single thing that would make a great tar.

Added rules: Really don't want a tar with a person in it... I don't want to answer the famous... is that you question? Really don't want to be driven nuts like e . Did that help?

I think it's very pretty. And I think any guy using it will immediately be branded as gay. NTTAWRT, but still... not for you.

Edit: I think you like mine and emw's because of some deeply hidden Iowa thing (crop circles?). See, emw and I were both born in Iowa.

yeah, i see what you mean... it does appear that avatar is either for die hard "old school" mac fans, gays or girls. :p

i have an idea though, i'll see how it comes out. it might suck, you never know with these things.

well i don't know about that but...

here's an idea, which can be elaborated on if it's well received. (it's open in photoshop and can be manipulated however it needs to be... more or less opacity, direction of the apples, etc) my main problem is coming up with an idea from scratch for someone, i never know which direction to go with it.
there's a PNG and a GIF. the png looks better but is not transparent in <gasp> Internet Explorer. (like we care) :p

it's the whole Apple, past and present thing...
