Currently I am using my bog standard ISP wireless router/modem device which is 22mbps.

I have just brought a time capsule and am planning to have this hanging via ethernet from my ISP router, but I'll have my MBP and AppleTV connecting via the Time Capsule at 802.11n.

Is there anyway I can check to make sure it does actually connect at n and not at b/g at all?

Thx!

Just ensure that when you set up and configure the Time Capsule that you choose n only, and not the b/g options.

I can't remember the options of the top of my head and I am at work so cannot take screenshots of the setup.

Mine is in legacy i.e. b/g and n mode for iPhone access.

The radio mode should give you some assistance.

Press Option and click the AirPort icon and your transmission speed should be above 54 Mbps if you are on N.
