Anyone else having an issue where your watch requires you to share your location before you can see your friends on the find my app? I'm already sharing my location, but it makes submit a share message before it will also access to see where my friends are. Pretty frustrating to have to take this extra step each time. Wondered if anyone found a work around.

Find People requiring me to share my location every single time I use it

When the prompt to share your location pops up, are you tapping on “Allow Once?”
The pop-up asks me if I want to share for 1 hour, 1 day or forever. I've tried all 3 options, but still get the same thing. I don't see any option for sharing it once (aside from just the 1 hour option)

This is on the watch?
When I go on Find People in the Watch app, it just goes to the list of people I’m sharing location with and when I click on anyone, it just takes me to their location. First time opening, it asks if you want to share once, always or never.
Yup, on the watch.
That is also what used to happen on mine. I can't tell if it's when I got my 'new' Apple Watch Series 6 or if it was when I upgraded to the new Watch OS (the last major upgrade). I don't use it that often & it was working fine before then, but ever since that transition, it now makes me share my location, every single time.
That is odd. Can I assume you did a hard reboot on the watch already?
