Finder alternative with Windows Explorer type folder tree

There are many threads on this forum on the topic of Finder alternatives (the usual suggestions are TotalFinder, PathFinder, or Forklift).

However, I'm specifically looking for a Finder alternative that has a Windows Explorer like interface (namely a 2 pane interface with a folder tree in the left pane and the contents of the currently selected folder in the right pane). As far as I can tell, the popular apps mentioned above don't include this type of interface.

The only alternative I have found with this type of interface is Macintosh Explorer: http://www.ragesw.com/products/explorer.html

Are there any other Finder alternatives that have this kind of interface?

To answer my own question, another option seems to be xFile, http://rixstep.com/4/0/xfile/
However, something I don't like about this is there does not seem to be an option to turn off visibility of hidden files/folders.

I'd welcome any other suggestions.

But the developers don't have a demo version as far as I can tell.

Thanks. I had noticed it - see previous post.

At face value it looks good but have you had any communication with the developers? I've emailed them a couple of times to ask if they have a trial version available outside the Mac App store, but they don't respond to my emails.
